Pivot Points (classic) Indicator — what it is and how to read it
Indicators
The period's P, support (S1/S2/S3) and resistance (R1/R2/R3) levels from the previous period's high/low/close (yesterday on intraday charts, last week on daily, last month on weekly); they stay flat through the period. Close above P = ▲ up, below = ▼ down. Classic, Fibonacci and Camarilla use different formulas.
How StockFortuna reads it
Close above the pivot (P) = ▲ up · below = ▼ down (period pivot)
The same rule drives the ▲ / ▼ markers on our charts. It describes a direction, not a recommendation.
